School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports
The mission of the School #33 SWPBIS team is to foster and promote a safe and positive school environment that enhances student learning through teaching and recognizing positive behavior.
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based three-tiered framework to improve and integrate all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes everyday. PBIS creates schools where all students succeed.
At School 33, we combine our PBIS SOAR Model with our House System to create a positive behavior system that fosters a caring school climate and excited environment for our students to learn and grow. We want each student to feel valued, celebrated and part of our school family. Each student will be part of a House family and earn individual SOAR tickets.
